The Ad-Lib Club strive to bring you the "Back to the Roots" sounds from the 50s and early 60s adopted by the mod,R&B,soul elite that helped give birth to the original underground all nighter scene up to 1966. The venue try's to replicate, as best as possible the original underground scene. Venue is a stone-walled cellar bar beneath Lord Beaumonts 1823 Manor House. With a warren of rooms with chill-out decks in the lounge bar and full on decks in the main room. Mainly playing underplayed R&B,Early Soul,Doowop,Hammond Grooves,Jamaican R&B &Jamaican Ska. This is a very popular event with another sold-out evening. Only made it for a couple of hours as I have another engagement on the Sunday. Dont think I can make November 2015 evening also due to another event taking place.
