FRIENDS OF THE LINCOLN TANK, MUSEUM of LINCOLNSHIRE LIFE
Friends of the Lincoln Tank exhibition at The Museum of Lincolnshire Life, 11th March 2012. The Friends are a group of like-minded enthusiasts dedicated to raising public awareness of the role of the City of Lincoln in the conception, development and building of the 20th century’s most formidable fighting machine.The Group was formed in 2004 by a small group of Tank fans, and has grown steadily over the years with members from Lincolnshire and beyond. A number of exhibits including First World War uniforms,weapons and colectables from private collectors were on display along with scale models. Society for Lincolnshire History and Archaeology were also present displaying Lincoln's Aircraft History. John Walls & Charles Parkers book-Aircraft made in Lincoln is still available to purchase.
