  • Bought this wallet at vintage fare. Think is late 1940s-early 50s as she has no press studs or zips?

  • George VI Centenery stamps. This set was designed in 1938 to celebrate the centenery of the penny post (6th May 1840). Colours matched the definitives(two illustrated on the right) for the same value. Only four stamps were to be issued in the original design but an additional two were added due to a pending postal rate increase in May 1940. One 1/2 times the size of the Definitives,This set was criticised for being too large due to wartime paper and ink shortages.
